Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Juventus youngster Kenan Yildiz if they are to lose Bruno Fernandes, according to a report from Calcio Mercato.

Yildiz is quickly developing into one of the best young players in the whole of Europe, with Juventus even describing him as ‘among the best in the world’ after a ‘year of magic. So far this season, Yildiz has provided 11 goal contributions in 18 Serie A appearances, while also contributing with four goals and assists in the Champions League.

One of the most impressive traits of Yildiz is his versatility, capable of playing in a host of different positions across the forward line. The 20-year-old has predominantly played as an attacking midfielder throughout his career, while he’s also regularly played on the left-hand side of attack. Man Utd Eyeing Move to Sign “Superstar”

According to Calcio Mercato, Manchester United are one of the sides showing an interest in signing Juventus star Yildiz. The Red Devils are looking for a potential replacement for Bruno Fernandes, who is attracting interest from Saudi Arabian trio Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad.

Fernandes is reportedly being offered in the region of £700.000-a-week by clubs in Saudi, and if United are to sanction an exit for the Portuguese midfielder, they need to ensure they find an adequate replacement, and Yildiz could be exactly that, especially in the long term.

Juventus are hoping to tie Yildiz down to a new contract in the near future in order to fend off any potential interest in their young star, and it’s claimed that the signs are more positive in terms of a renewal for Yildiz, who is valued at £87m. Yildiz Would be Ideal Fernandes Replacement.

 Fernandes has been an absolutely incredible signing for United. and he’s represented the club perfectly on and off the pitch. Unfortunately, he’s not going to be around forever, and at the age of 31, he’s reaching the latter stages of his career.

Finding a player who is capable of replicating what Fernandes currently produces is going to be next to impossible, so bringing a player with the potential to reach that level would be a smart move.
