The Manchester City star didn't hold back following the Champions League loss to Norway's Bodo/Glimt.
Erling Haaland has named himself and three Manchester City teammates as the players responsible for the dismal loss to Bodo/Glimt.
On Tuesday night, Manchester City travelled to the Aspmyra Stadion in Norway to face Bodo/Glimt in a gruelling Champions League away day.
Despite heading into the match as heavy favourites, City were soon on the back foot as Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh found the back of the net twice in the opening 25 minutes.
The situation only got worse for Pep Guardiola's side as home side winger Jens Petter Hauge found a third goal before Rodri was shown a red card just moments after Rayan Cherki found City's only goal in the 3-1 loss.
After the match, City star Haaland spoke out against his side's performance, claiming that he and three of his teammates were solely responsible for the 'embarrassing' result.

Despite the fact that we should now be used to Haaland exceeding expectations, the 25-year-old is having a spectacular season so far, scoring 26 goals and assisting four in 31 appearances across all competitions.
However, the return to his home country didn't inspire a memorable performance as he failed to score again, with a penalty against Brighton his only goal in the past eight games.
But, to his credit, Haaland accepted that he was partly to blame for the disappointing result against Bodo/Glimt, naming himself and 'experienced' teammates Rodri, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Tijjani Reijnders as the players responsible for the loss.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Haaland said: âI take full responsibility together with Rodri, Gigio [Donnarumma], Tijjani [Reijnders] - us experienced players.
âI donât want to blame anyone but we need to take more responsibility, because at the end itâs not good enough. Weâre Man City, we canât go around and not win games, it shouldnât be like this.
âI donât have the answers. I take full responsibility of not being able to score. I just apologise to everyone; every single Man City supporter, every supporter that travelled, because in the end itâs embarrassing.
"Honestly, I donât know what to say because I donât have the answers, and what I can say is sorry.â

Haaland's performance comes after manager Guardiola said that his star striker was 'exhausted' ahead of the brutal 2-0 Premier League loss to historic rivals Manchester United.
But when asked how he was feeling, Haaland brushed it off, replying: âI donât want to speak about how I feel or whatever. I do my best whenever Iâm on the pitch, [and] Iâm on the pitch quite often because we play a ridiculous amount of games.
"I try to do my best, thatâs my job, and I try to get ready for the next game because now another game is in four days so we have to try recover again.â

Erling Haaland Accidentally âLeaksâ Message in Manchester City Training Photo
Erling Haaland posted a picture of him and UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov but fans spotted the message.
Erling Haaland accidentally leaked Manchester City's training ground message and fans spotted it instantly.
The Premier League's top scorer shared a picture of him with UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov, who visited the club's training ground earlier this week.
The Dagestani fighter enjoyed a trip to Manchester and was present for City's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. He linked up with a whole host of City stars, including Tijjani Reijnders, Abdukodir Khusanov and Haaland, who gave him a signed shirt as a gift.
The Norwegian had a total of three pictures with the former lightweight champion, who retired with an undefeated 29-0 record in MMA.

He uploaded one on his official X page, with the caption, "Mentality". However, plenty of people noticed that there was a rallying message on the television in the background.
It turns out that the message is part of a post on X by City fan Geronimo Morgans following on from back-to-back dropped points for Pep Guardiola's men.

It reads: "The pressure. The chase. The reminder that we've been here before, pushed to the absolute limit and still taken everything. That has always been our spirit.
"We don't fold. We don't panic. We don't quit. We adapt. We respond. We turn setbacks into solutions. We change situations, because that's what we do.
"We are not weaklings. We are Manchester City Football Club."
Guardiola has used messages to galvanise and inspire his team in the past, notably having a message in the boot room which read, "No team has won four consecutive Premier League titles⊠yet!â.
Ahead of Aston Villa in second on goal difference, City find themselves six points behind league leaders Arsenal after two consecutive draws.
Haaland needs to end goal drought
Haaland is the top scorer in the Premier League by a considerable distance with 19 strikes - with Igor Thiago closest on 14 after his hat-trick against Everton on Sunday.
The former Borussia Dortmund striker has failed to find the net in his last three games against Chelsea, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest.
He has never gone our top-flight starts in a row without scoring and needs to be back amongst the goals against Brighton on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland does have a good record against Brighton as he's struck in every one of his last four Premier League appearances but City have struggled against City in recent times, failing to win their last three meetings.

What Erling Haaland and Rodri did following last-gasp Real Madrid defeat speaks volumes
Manchester City were beaten by Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
What Erling Haaland and Rodri did after Manchester City lost to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League speaks volumes.
On Tuesday night, Pep Guardiola's men welcomed Madrid to the Etihad Stadium for the first leg of their Champions League playoff clash.
City went ahead in the first half thanks to Erling Haaland before Kylian Mbappe levelled the match in the second half.
Haaland then netted from 12 yards to give City the lead again, but late goals from Brahim Diaz and Jude Bellingham sealed a dramatic 3-2 win for Carlo Ancelotti's side.
After the final whistle sounded, it was spotted that Norwegian striker Haaland had an 'angry' reaction.
What Erling Haaland and Rodri did after Manchester City's dramatic defeat by Real Madrid
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Haaland 'turned to the tunnel and started walking. He offered a handshake to the passing Carlo Ancelotti and looked angry at something Kylian Mbappe said on the way past'.
The 24-year-old then headed straight towards the dressing room and reportedly ignored everyone to ensure he was the first player back in.
In contrast, Rodri was spotted waiting to shake every player's hand 'in sympathy' as they walked back towards the changing room.
Meanwhile, City's Portuguese players were seen consoling goalkeeper Ederson, whose slight misjudgement in stoppage time allowed Bellingham to score the winner.
Speaking after the match, City star John Stones said: "I don't know how to put it into words straight away, it's so raw and frustrating for everyone.
"We were in the game until so late and then it's two situations that happen and we concede. It's frustrating as a defender to come away with that result."

He added: "It's a feeling of anger and frustration. We need to see games out better that's for sure. The manager just said to us we need to take accountability for what we do on the pitch, I think we do that. We need to step up when these bad moments happen.
"Today we had a great opportunity to go to the Bernabeu with a 2-1 lead. It's not done. We have to stay positive, which is difficult now. As the manager says, we need to look at ourselves and take accountability."
City are back in action this weekend when they take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon before travelling to Madrid looking to overturn their first leg defeat to keep their Champions League dream alive.
