Amad Diallo trolled Arsenal after Manchester United beaten the Gunners 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium.

Amad Diallo rinsed Arsenal on social media after Manchester United picked up a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Gunners on Sunday.

Aside from last season's FA Cup penalty shoot-out win, United have struggled at the Emirates and had not won at the ground in the league for eight years.

But under new boss Michael Carrick, the Red Devils picked up where they left off last week when they recorded an impressive 2-0 win over rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford.

After Lisandro Martinez put through his own net, United levelled matters through Bryan Mbeumo - capitalising on a costly mistake from Martin Zubimendi and keeping his cool in front of goal.

The visitors went ahead five minutes after half-time when Patrick Dorgu continued his fine form with a thunderous strike in and off the crossbar but six minutes from time Mikel Merino made it 2-2 after a scramble from an Arsenal corner.

But there was one more twist as after some fine combination play in midfielder, substitute Matheus Cunha bent in a stunning strike past David Raya for the winner.

United handed the Premier League leaders their third defeat of the season and after the game, winger Amad was in a trolling mood.

Prior to the clash, a Gunner supporter had written, "Arsenal are winning 4-0, they just sent me the script".

So when they result finished 3-2 to United, on his official X account, Amad couldn't help but reply with the score graphic and the message, "Enjoy KID".

When user @cagiago_ replied, "don’t tweet me ever again", the Ivorian slammed Arsenal and said, "Your only hope is corner, "Be humble KID".

Sitting in fourth in the table, United return to action on Sunday when they host Fulham in the Premier League.

    Roy Keane

Roy Keane Hits Out at Michael Carrick With Brutal Verdict Despite Arsenal Win

Roy Keane reacted to Michael Carrick leading Manchester United to another impressive victory over league leaders Arsenal.

Roy Keane still found time to give a brutally honest view on Michael Carrick's placement as Manchester United boss despite an incredible 3-2 win over Arsenal.

Carrick got off to a dream start as caretaker boss when he led United to a 2-0 win over rivals Manchester City in the derby at Old Trafford.

United were thoroughly deserving of the victory and played with an energy and swagger that had been lacking under previous manager Ruben Amorim.

The Red Devils proved it was anything but a one-off with a win that was even more impressive as they came from behind to beat the league leaders in their own backyard.

After Lisandro Martinez put through his own net, Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu, both goalscorers last week, turned things around to put United in the lead.

Dorgu's stunning strike was cancelled out by Mikel Merino seven minutes from time but substitute Matheus Cunha popped up with the winner for United, giving them a first victory at the Emirates in eight years.

Carrick has already had a transformative impact at United in such a short space of time and the 13-time Premier League winners are sitting in fourth with 38 points from 23 games.

However, former captain Keane is not getting too excited and believes United should not repeat their move with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in 2019 and give Carrick the job on a full-time basis.

When asked by Micah Richards on Sky Sports, Keane stated: "The job? You’re being silly now. No, he’s had two great performances but anybody can win two games. It’s what he does until the end of the season.

"Even if they get fourth I wouldn't be convinced he's the man for the job. Absolutely not. They need a bigger and better manager.

“But, he’s got the opportunity, what a chance it is for him and, do you know what, he’s taking it so fair play to him.”

Carrick's contract lasts until the end of the season and a whole of managers have been linked with the post, including Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva.

Next up for United is a visit of Fulham on Sunday 1 February.

Amad Diallo mocks Arsenal defender Gabriel after fake quotes were shared online

Arsenal dropped two more points in the title race at Old Trafford.

Amad Diallo has taken to social media to mock Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes, although it appears the Manchester United forward was unaware that the quotes shared are fake.

Arsenal dropped two more points in the Premier League title race on Sunday as Declan Rice's second-half strike cancelled out a superb free-kick from Bruno Fernandes.

With just 10 games remaining of their 2024/25 campaign, the Gunners sit 15 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool, who extended their lead with a 3-1 win over rock bottom Southampton.

It was an afternoon to forget for the North London club and in his post-match interview, a frustrated Mikel Arteta stormed out of his chat with reporter Patrick Davison as he refused to answer a question about the title race.

He later gave the following response when asked about their chances. "I don't want to say that but today the frustration is that we have not won our game, we are obligated to win every match but it's not the right moment to talk about that."

After the full-time whistle, Manchester United forward Amad Diallo took to social media to respond to a fake quote that was doing the rounds on X, formerly Twitter, ahead of kick-off.

Amad replied to at a meme shared by Troll Football that shows Gabriel Magalhaes being asked: "Are you particularly scared of any United attackers you might face on Sunday?"

The fake quotes go on to suggest that Gabriel replied by saying: "I'm pretty sure I have scored more than all of them."

As mentioned above, the Brazilian defender has never made such a statement, although it seems convincing given the centre-back has scored more goals in the Premier League this season than Rasmus Hojlund.

In fact, Amad responded by sharing a GIF of Joshua Zirkzee from the evening of January 12, when he waved to Arsenal fans after scoring the winning penalty in their FA Cup fourth round clash.

As seen from the screenshot below, he also captioned the post: "Ahahah".

Last month, an "extremely disappointed" Amad posted an emotional statement on social media after he sustained ankle ligament damage in training.

The 22-year-old winger, who has been one of United's standout performers under Ruben Amorim, is expected to be out for the rest of the season.

"Extremely disappointed to be writing this message in such a crucial time of the season," he said. "Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury. I will come back stronger than ever!! Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for."

Four free agents Man Utd can sign after devastating Amad Diallo injury despite transfer window closing

Ruben Amorim could explore the free agent market to strengthen his Manchester United squad after being hit with several injuries.

Here is four free agents Manchester United could sign following the club's injury crisis.

Man United have been hit with several injuries, with Amad Diallo set for a lengthy spell on the sideline.

Amad posted an emotional statement on social media to confirm his devastating injury and may not return this season, having enjoyed a stunning campaign under Ruben Amorim.

The injury list also includes midfielders Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer, who are also ruled out for a period of time.

Despite the transfer window slamming shut earlier this month, Amorim could recruit a free agent to solve his squad issues, with a number of players available.

A slew of players are still without a club following the end of the winter transfer window, including a few former Premier League stars.

    Carlos Vela

With Amad potentially out for the season, Amorim could look to Vela, who can operate on the wing, providing a like-for-like replacement for the Ivorian star.

Vela, 35, is without a club following his spell with Los Angeles FC.

Of course, the Mexican has Premier League experience, having played for Arsenal and West Brom.

    Rafinha

Another Amad replacement could be ex-Barcelona winger Rafinha, who can play in a number of positions.

He could be a perfect fit for Amorim's system as he can be deployed at wing-back or can be pushed higher in a more attacking position.

The Brazilian, still just 32, has big-game experience following his spells with Barca and Paris Saint-Germain. His last club was Qatari side Al Arabi.

    Daniel Amartey

Amartey could be a short-term fix for Amorim's midfield issues with Mainoo and Ugarte both out.

He made his name at Leicester City, where he won the league title.

The Ghana international could slot in Amorim's formation as one of the No.6s.

    Victor Wanyama

Wanyama, 33, could also be an option. The Kenyan midfielder enjoyed spells at Celtic, Southampton and Tottenham.

He has Premier League experience, having made 159 appearances in England's top flight.

The defensive midfielder is without a club following his CF Montreal release.

Amad Diallo posts emotional statement after suffering injury in training as source makes worrying claim

He has been one of United's standout performers this season.

An "extremely disappointed" Amad Diallo has posted an emotional statement on social media after he sustained ankle ligament damage in a training session this week.

The 22-year-old, who has been one of Manchester United's standout performers under Ruben Amorim, is currently the club's top scorer this season with six goals in his last 14 appearances in all competitions.

After being used sparingly by Erik ten Hag during his two-and-a-half year reign at Old Trafford, the Ivorian has flourished in Amorim's 3-4-2-1 system.

But the Portuguese head coach will have to cope without Amad in the coming months after he sustained ankle ligament damage ahead of their Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

A report from PA claims Amad is still being assessed following the training ground incident but a source from United suggests it is 'touch and go' whether he will play again this season.

Taking to social media to confirm the injury news, Amad insisted he will come back stronger than ever.

"Extremely disappointed to be writing this message in such a crucial time of the season," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

"Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury. I will come back stronger than ever!! Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for."

It appears a number of first-team players will miss United's clash against Spurs, including Kobbie Mainoo, who is expected to be out for more than two weeks.

Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are also set to miss Sunday’s visit to North London after picking up injuries in training.

As per Scoop, highly-rated forward Chido Obi-Martin has travelled with United’s first-team squad alongside fellow academy players Sekou Kone, Harry Amass, Jack Moorhouse and Elyh Harrison.

Amorim appears to have performed a U-turn on including Chido Obi-Martin in his squad following the latest batch of injuries and January departures, which include Marcus Rashford and Antony.

Asked about the prospect of giving the 17-year-old striker first-team minutes, the Portuguese coach played down the idea.

"He’s doing his job, he’s improving, he’s playing in the youth teams, and we have also other players that can play in that position," Amorim said earlier this month.

"Rasmus [Hojlund] and Josh [Zirkzee] are there, we bought these two players, so we need to improve them and then sometimes the confidence can change a player."
