According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the Red Devils held talks with Senesi’s agent last month. The 28‑year‑old defender has been one of Bournemouth’s most reliable defensive figures in the Premier League and was looking for a bigger challenge as his contract is set to expire next summer.

However, Manchester United’s negotiations completely stalled after Ruben Amorim was sacked as manager.
