The report by Football Insider states that United’s director of recruitment, Christopher Vivell, is pushing for Nagelsmann to become the next permanent manager at Old Trafford.
An interim boss will fill in for the remaining five months of the campaign with United pushing for European football, but a permanent solution will be needed to replace Amorim in the summer months.
