The viral headline suggested that Luis Enrique had turned down PSG’s extension proposal. However, closer inspection revealed the claim to be entirely fabricated. After careful checks, it became clear that Bild had not published any article or information of this kind. Instead, the rumor originated from a handful of social media accounts and quickly snowballed, being repeatedly shared until it was mistakenly treated as legitimate news — despite having no credible source to support it.

Sporting advisor Luis Campos issued a firm and unmistakable denial in comments to Canal+ journalist Olivier Tallaron, calling the report “100% fake news.” His response was brief, direct, and left no room for interpretation.
Contrary to the online speculation, there has been no rejection of a contract extension by Luis Enrique, nor is there any internal tension surrounding his future. On the contrary, PSG remain fully committed to their manager, whose current deal runs until 2027, and continue to see him as a key figure in the club’s long-term sporting project.
